Building multidisciplinary marine research

A main goal for Gothenburg Centre for Marine Research is to promote contacts between reserchers from different disciplines. We can assist in initiating collaborations between researchers within different fields of marine environmental research.

The University of Gothenburg has a strong tradition in intradisciplinary marine research. Gothenburg Centre for Marine Research provide the support to explore the potentials and synergies of multidisciplinary marine research.

Gothenburg Centre for Marine Research arrange multidisciplinary events, seminars and conferences with participation from researchers from University of Gothenburg as well as invited scientists and stakeholders. We encourage you to suggest topics for seminars and workshops!

Financial support from Gothenburg Centre for Marine Research

If you plan to build a transdisciplinar project consortia, it is possible to apply for financial support from us! We can assist financially during the process of building up project consortia and/or writing proposals in response to calls from national and international funding agencies. 

We do collaborate with the research funding advisors at Research and Innovation Services, University of Gothenborg.
